April 27th was the craziest day of my life.

I was feeling very pregnant, but pretty good. I only had 10 days left. The only thing that was out of the ordinary was one foot was much more swollen than the other. I worried about it all morning. Finally around lunch time my mom convinced me just to call my Dr. just to make sure i was ok. I had a doctors appointment the next day and was just going to wait it out. The nurse said not to worry, go home and put your feet up. A few minutes later the nurse called back and said that she had talked to my Dr. and wanted me to come in as soon as i could just to make sure. So i went and found Todd who was working with me in Salt Lake filled him in on what was going on and drove to Syracuse. We found out i had really high blood pressure and the only thing i remember about that appointment was my Dr. saying... you're going to have a baby today. She told me to go straight to the hospital, don't go home. Of course I started to cry. Called Todd on my way to the hospital and told him to come straight to me. Called my mom because i was freaking out! I wanted someone with me at the hospital until Todd could get there. I got checked in around 4pm. I was dialated to a 3, and the nurse told me i was having contractions. Todd got there and family started showing up, i was dialated to a 4. At 6:30 they broke my water and started me on pitocin. Immediately i started feeling the lovely contractions. Hello pain. I waited until i was at a good 7 and then i got an epidural. That was one of the highlights of my day. No pain, just the heavenly cold numbing sensation. After that the nurse checked me and i was progressing just fine. The baby's head wasn't moving down as fast as it should so she said we would just let her run her course and move when she wanted too. A few minutes later at 9:30 the Dr. came in to check on me, i was at a 9. The nurse told my Dr. about the baby's head and my Dr. didn't even hesitate... No.. were not waiting, lets have this baby. So they kicked everyone out, shut the door and 12 minutes later at 9:42 pm Zoi Blayne was born. It was the craziest, most incredible 3 hours and 12 minutes of mine and Todd's life. From waking up to thinking it was going to be a normal day to this beautiful little baby that night we felt so blessed and lucky to have a healthy little girl!

Three items of business:

1. This is my 100th post... oh la la for me!

2. Thanks for all your sweet thoughts and comments on our last post! Were still getting over the shock, but we couldn't be more excited! It means so much to us! We have the best friends!

3. We made the quick trip down to Vegas over the weekend to see BYU play with Nick and Brandi. We stayed in St. George, visited my fam, ate a lot and had a lot of fun spending 12 hours in the car in 2 days. We had really good seats (2nd Row!) and there were a ton of BYU fan's there which always makes for a fun game in someone else's stadium! I was so happy there was no sickness... it waited until we got home on Sunday! Yay for me!

We start out the 4th at the Kaysville parade.. We haven't had little kids around for a long time so its a lot of fun to have Hayden and the AZ Days around again! Of course Lauren and Brady were in the parade, but my camera was in the car. After the parade we head over to Layton park and hung out for a few hours before heading over to the infamous BBQ at Aunt Linda's. The 4th wouldn't be the same without "Andy i over" then its off to the fire works at Davis. Of course we waited until everyone left and then the boys made their own fireworks and we had to sit in the driveway for an hour until they were done... were still hearing an occasional boom come from the back yard ;)

Heather, Hayden and I will be faithfully sitting in the bleachers cheering the boys on ;)

We have been able to watch Hayden a lot and have grown so close to her! She absolutley adores her uncle Toddy and he of course has a special place for her in his heart. They are so fun to watch together, she just lights up when she see's him. It has been so much fun to be an Aunt thanks to Todd's family! Her pool party was on Saturday and it was great to see everyone on the Johnson side. The in-laws came into town for the special occasion too! Sorry we are not the best picture takers, but at least i got a couple!

There is not a whole lot going on in the Johnson house...Todd had a fabulous time in Vegas and was finally able to go on a couple rides on top of the stratosphere that i wouldn't let him ride when we went together! (see proof below) Aside from a few meetings he got to see "O", went shopping, ate great food and hung out with great friends. I on the other hand went to work, ate dinner at my parents and cleaned the house. As weird as it sounds, that was really the first time we had been apart since we started dating! Needless to say, I was very excited for him to come home!

We got to play mom & dad last weekend while Brock and Am went out of town. Todd and I love this little family so much! Im so glad that they live in Utah now and we can be closer to them! My mom is my best friend & I love her so much. She has always been there for me no matter what and im so blessed to have her in my life.

I just have to brag about my hubby for a sec! He got invited to a "lavish" retreat in Vegas at the end of the month for being in the top 10% of enrollment counselors for the entire company! He works so hard, and is great at his job. I could never do what he does every day! I know there are times he thinks i don't care and am sick of hearing him talk about it all... but i really do care! I appreciate him more than he will ever know! Congrats babe! You deserve it!

Its a good thing i have a million pictures from our wedding day! Suprisingly ;) it just came and went and that was that! We got our unedited wedding pictures back.. can't wait to see them all done! Now that we are down to days and life is crazier than ever i thought i would take a moment to forget about it all and blog! We both just finished a class and have a break until we get back to real life at the end of this month and i can actually think now... somewhat! We only have 9 days left! Time has really just flown by! I got my bridals back and I'm really excited about them! Todd has already seen my dress... probably a good 12 times since i try it on all time making sure it still fits! So there is no surprise there, but I'm not letting him see any of the pictures! We also moved Todd into our house over the weekend... and slowly were moving all of my stuff in! I can't wait to live there! It just so randomly happens to be the house i lived in when i was born.. and then again 10 years later when we were building my parents house.. and now where Todd & I are going to live! I love Kaysville. Seriously, I could live here forever.

2 Down! Only 2 to go! We had so much fun on Saturday at my day/sackett shower! Amber made my shower beautiful and used our wedding colors! It was so fun to see everyone as well as get a little glimpse into what our wedding day is going to look like! It was awesome! Thank you everyone for coming and for all the gifts! I am so spoiled!
